The Specs: The Industry Standard Workhorse The Gildan G185 is a high-utility, 13.3 oz/lin yd. (8 oz. sq/yd) midweight fleece built for versatility and relentless daily rotation. Engineered with a precision 50/50 US Cotton/Polyester blend, this hoodie utilizes advanced Air Jet Yarn technology—a specialized air-spinning process that creates a softer hand-feel while significantly reducing surface pilling and increasing abrasion resistance.

Designed for a classic, relaxed fit, the G185 features a double-lined hood for enhanced wind protection and a reinforced pouch pocket with double-needle stitching for secure gear storage. The 1x1 athletic rib-knit cuffs and waistband are infused with spandex, ensuring superior stretch recovery and a secure seal against the elements. Quarter-turned during construction to eliminate a center crease, this garment provides a clean, professional canvas that maintains its structure through heavy-duty wear and repeated industrial laundering.

The Print: We don’t do "flimsy." Our gear is built using a high-pressure DTG (Direct-to-Garment) process that bonds specialized, heavy-duty inks directly into the fabric. This isn't a soft, delicate fashion print—it’s a rugged, high-friction finish designed to withstand the grind. You’ll feel the texture of the design, a reminder that the print is anchored deep into the fibers to prevent the cracking and peeling common with cheap heat transfers. Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors to maintain the integrity of the heavy fleece. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve the fit and print. Avoid fabric softeners to keep the moisture-wicking properties of the Airlume cotton intact, and never iron directly on the design.
